Nobody’s default but mine

One more dip into the Indie 88 playlist… this time it’s band called Django Django.  There’s a sound sample that repeats throughout this song, and you’ll hear it at the very beginning.  Sometimes, if you take a sound sample, and slice it different ways, it has the potential to sound interesting (and I don’t mean in a crappy auto-tune kind of way).  It goes around the word “default” and in some cases it sounds like “click default.”  I guess that comes from all my the years of writing computer code.  Click OK or Cancel, click default… anyway, now all we need is for the band Default to record a song called “Django Django” and the circle will be complete.

Django Django – “Default”

I started out as a child, then things kind of grew from there.  I spend way too much time around computers and radios, but I do like to take a break once in a while.  I'm not a real doctor, but I played one on the radio in college. A bit later on, I wrote an article that was published in COMPUTE!'s Gazette (Commodore 64/128 magazine). I also think digital watches are a pretty neat idea.
