You may recall that earlier this year, Matt Pinfield took over the position as host of Flashback.  You may have been wondering what happened to the previous host, Bill St. James.  Well, wonder no more, because he’s back:

United Stations Radio Networks adds classic rock “Time Warp With Bill St. James” to its posse of syndicated programming. The four-hour weekend show is produced by newly launched production company RTE Media, created by Dan Formento following the separation of he and St. James from their previous 25-year “Flashback” program. (Cumulus Media-syndicated Flashback continues with new host Matt Pinfield.)

Time Warp begins its mission (to seek out new life in old TV shows and dusty records) the weekend of March 17 & 18, but if you can’t wait that long you can hear a sneak peek on Time Warp’s page on the USRN web site.

I started out as a child, then things kind of grew from there.  I spend way too much time around computers and radios, but I do like to take a break once in a while.  I'm not a real doctor, but I played one on the radio in college. A bit later on, I wrote an article that was published in COMPUTE!'s Gazette (Commodore 64/128 magazine). I also think digital watches are a pretty neat idea.

  1. We just watched the show where you guys crushed pop cans – barrels – and a tanker with steam then cooled them off. We think it would have been a much better result with the tanker if you would have used a water bomber plane to cool the tanker down more in one shot. It would be cool if this could be done on a future show, so if I can be dropped a line about this would be appreciated. Thanks for your time, looking forward to.future shows of time warp.
