Speaking of Sports

Now that 2013 has finally arrived, you might be wondering where you can hear the new CBS Sports Radio. The affiliate list includes WFAN (660 AM, 101.9 FM), but The Fan isn’t carrying the full network. It’s been reported that the full network can be heard on WCBS-FM 101.1 HD3.
HD3? Really? I understand that CBS doesn’t want to compete with itself by putting CBS Sports Radio on a powerful AM or FM, but putting it on HD3 is kind of like putting the network in a closet. Perhaps after the WFAN listeners have been “converted” from AM to FM, the network will pop up on 660.
In the meantime, we’re still wondering what’s going to happen on 94.7 FM…

CBS Sports radio will pop up on a major frequency, no way in the number one market that CBS will not put on their network on a major frequency, good bet 660 am it worked with WFAN all these years why not with CBS network, its a no brainer
According to this article, the long-term goal is to put the CBS Sports network on 660:

101.9 needs to gain some traction first.
