Like a Virgin

As much as I like WRXP, I can’t help but think that they’re “borrowing” some, or part, of Virgin Radio’s playlists from 2006.  Why would I say such a thing?  Because I listened to Virgin Radio back in 2006 and heard some of the same songs, such as:

• Snow Patrol - “Chasing Cars”
• Paolo Nutini - “Jenny Don’t Be Hasty”
• Muse - “Starlight”
• The Killers - “All These Things That I’ve Done”

Not that I’m complaining, mind you, I’m just noticing these things… oh, and I’m also noticing that both station logos use a star (different orientation, but it’s there):

I haven’t listened to Virgin much recently, mostly because I was starting to find their playlist a bit repetitive (i.e., I’d come back a year later and find very little change in their playlist).  I still like their broadcast of the annual V Festival, and try to catch it when I can… The Verve in ‘08, woohoo!
